The Classified Nomenclature of Geography © version 2026 by Franco Albanesi, Albanesi Montessori Files (SKU: CN-430) is based on the original teacher-training demonstration prototype that Dr. Maria Montessori provided for teachers to research and develop for their elementary students of ages 9-12.
This extensive research is intended to be available as a downloadable product ONLY. It is not sold in printed format on cardstock. Teachers who buy this product are permitted to print out pictures, labels, and definitions to assemble each of the 5 chapters (40 sets in total) to have this material available to students in their classroom.
1) The complete CN-430 to be Downloaded consists of 40 Exercises of 231 Printable Picture Cards (5” x 5”). Labels (3/4” x 5”), and Definitions (5” x 5”) in pdf format to be printed, cut out and organized in color-coded plastic pockets (not included - not downloadable). ALL EXERCISE FILES are designed with colored pictures and black/white outlined pictures with a highlighted red item that are compatible for tracing on a LIGHT BOX.
2) A Control Set of 231 CONTROL PAGES (8.5” x 11”) to be printed ONLY and NOT TO BE CUT OUT. Instead, the pages should be hole-punched and bound together as multiple booklets, one booklet for each chapter, possibly held together with a plastic binder. CONTROL BOOKLETS can serve teachers and students for CONTROL OF ERROR providing answer keys for all pictures, labels, and definitions. After printing the CONTROL PAGES, the booklets should be assembled by moving the last page of each file to the front of the booklet with identifiable information, such as picture, title, subtitle and code number like 1.A, 2.A, 1.B, 2.B, 3.B and so on.
